Swapping My Usual Perfume for a More Intense Scent

Changing perfume is no small thing. Just as with clothing or makeup, the scent you choose to accompany you day to day says a lot about you. We could say that it is a silent calling card, a memory that remains in those around you and a gesture that reinforces your personal confidence.

However, finding a new perfume that really fits your lifestyle isn’t always easy. After years loyal to my usual fragrances, I have found one that has surprised me completely. A new scent full of character and one of those that leaves a mark.

Why is it good to change your perfume from time to time?

Basically it is good to change perfume because it reflects moods and life stages. Refreshing the fragrance allows you to adapt it to how you feel in the present, discover new olfactory sensations, and prevent your nose from getting too accustomed to a scent.

It is clear that it is a small gesture that refreshes our routine and helps us have a different version of ourselves. It is a bit of what happened to me now, that I fancied a different perfume. After many years of trying the same perfumes, I wanted to bet on something different.

This season I loved the new release from Carolina Herrera. I am referring to La Bomba perfume. It is a new scent that aims to leave a mark and is full of energy. Not only does its bottle catch the eye, but also its smell.

It is a fragrance that belongs to the oriental floral/fruity fragrance family. On release, it highlights dragon fruit as the main note, an exotic, juicy and vibrant aroma. In the heart, floral notes come into play: red peony, plumeria, among others.

Nor is there that touch of vanilla and patchouli that contribute warmth and a sweet touch to the fragrance. In my case, I can say that it seems to me an intense perfume but as the hours go by it becomes somewhat softer and warmer. I would say it is more of a nighttime scent.

Perfume La Bomba de Carolina Herrera

  • Es un olor intenso que dura todo el día.

  • Cuenta con un envase súper especial y diferente.

  • Tiene una fragancia con personalidad y perfecta para el otoño-invierno.

Other intense perfumes for autumn

On the other hand, it is true that if you are not used to wearing intense perfumes or ones with sweet notes, perhaps it is not the perfume you are looking for. In the same line there is another perfume from the brand: Good Girl Blush Elixir. Another similar perfume from another brand is Scandal by Jean Paul Gaultier.

Perfume Scandal de Jean Paul Gaultier.

An intense perfume as well, but with different notes. Among them stand out honey, orange blossom, and patchouli. A blend of scents designed to stand out with this perfume.
