Six Suede Loafers to Include in All My Outfits

Every February there is a pair of shoes that reclaim a key place in our wardrobe, and this year it’s the suede loafers. Comfortable, practical and very easy to pair with, they work especially well in that transitional moment when it’s still very cold, but we start to look for lighter looks for when the weather grants us a break.

Although classic loafers never disappear, the suede versions have something special. They are just as versatile, but they bring a softer and more sophisticated air when paired with jeans, straight-leg pants, or neutral looks. That’s why many women (especially the French) prefer them to other stiffer flat shoes.

This season I’ll include them in many of my looks because they have it all. They don’t tire you, they’re elegant and you can walk in them for hours. Moreover, far from what many people tend to think, their extensive range of options is quite varied.

My February Purchases: Suede Loafers

Mocasín chocolate de silueta suave de Prada, 790 euros.

Prada soft-silhouette chocolate loafer, 790 euros. Its clean and flexible design is aimed at those who seek comfort without sacrificing elegance. They go with absolutely everything and bring that sophisticated air that elevates even the simplest looks. They are one of my favorites of the season.

Mocasín con cordones de Tod’s, 354 euros.

Tod’s lace-up loafer, 354 euros. It’s a classic, but reinvented. You can wear it both to the office and to a brunch day with friends. The best part is that they are the best ally for beige pants, denim, linen, or even monochrome looks. It has that balance between classic and modern that never fails, and they never go out of style.

Mocasín verde oliva de Massimo Dutti, 35.95 euros.

Massimo Dutti olive-green loafer, 35.95 euros. They are synonymous with less is more. It’s a perfect alternative to brown or black, but maintains that neutral aesthetic that fits into any wardrobe. The silhouette is simple, lightweight, and very comfortable. You can wear them at any hour.

Mocasín beige limpio y elegante de Martinelli, 69.95 euros

Martinelli clean and elegant beige loafer, 69.95 euros. It has a classic, well-balanced design that never goes out of fashion and goes with everything. It looks especially good with whites, light denim, grays, or neutral tones. Also, they are comfortable, versatile and very easy to integrate into any capsule wardrobe.

Mocasín verde con pespuntes de Parfois, 32.99 euros.

Mocasín verde con pespuntes de Parfois, 32.99 euros. Thanks to its structure and firmer sole, they are comfortable, modern and versatile. They work very well with tailored trousers, straight jeans, or even with more minimalist looks. They’re not flashy, but they are special.

Mocasín marrón clásico de Ralph Lauren, 225 euros.

Mocasín marrón clásico de Ralph Lauren, 225 euros. They are the most traditional model, and that is precisely why they never fail. They are elegant, discreet, and very versatile, perfect for those who prefer investing in basics that do not go out of fashion.
