Queen Letizia continues with her official schedule for the week. After inaugurating yesterday, alongside King Felipe, the exhibition dedicated to Queen Victoria Eugenia, today the queen awards, at the Alzheimer’s Center in Salamanca, the Reina Letizia National Disability Awards.

With more than 40 years of history, whose main objective is to “encourage and recognize the career, dedication, and contribution of people and public and private entities in matters of inclusion, full citizenship, and the effective enjoyment of the human rights of people with disabilities, with special attention to women and girls with disabilities, mothers and caregivers of people with disabilities, and rural areas.”

For the occasion, Queen Letizia has chosen a perfect ensemble for winter institutional events. Composed of basic pieces that we all have in our wardrobes, it is an elegant look but very interesting thanks to the splash of color.

The Queen Letizia Look, in Detail

Letizia has pulled from her closet a Mango leather jacket that she debuted this year at the ARCO fair. It is made of 100% sheep leather and features a straight cut, a shirt-collar and lapels, and long sleeves.

It has two patch pockets with flaps at the front, a front button closure, and an inner lining. A refined garment, crafted from fabrics of impeccable quality to build a feminine and contemporary wardrobe for special occasions.

Under the jacket, she wears a fitted turtleneck sweater in a neutral tone that balances the look. This type of garment adds warmth and softness to the ensemble and is a winter staple. It is by Falconeri and is a model crafted in ultrasoft cashmere, made from 100% natural fibers.

The pleated trousers are wide-cut and long, in a gray tone with a white diplomatic stripe, which visually elongates the silhouette and lends a professional air. The fluid, slightly oversized cut adds movement and a modern touch.

Complete the look with black loafers featuring a mask-like detail and patent finish, and a red clutch to match the jacket. As for jewelry, minimalist hoop earrings stand out and a simple ring on the ring finger.

In the beauty department, she wears her hair loose, styled with a side part and soft, water-wave curls that add volume. The makeup, very flattering, focuses on pink-toned smoky eyes and lips in a very natural shade, which brightens the face. A classic and functional look, perfect for going to the office in the colder months of the year.
