Longevity and Wellness at WeLife Festival 2026 in October

Among content creators, short videos, artificial intelligence and infinite scrolling that spits out a new news item every nanosecond, it is increasingly common to feel lost and overwhelmed. When it comes to longevity, menopause, exercise, nutrition, personal and professional growth, information overload is starting to take its toll.

How can we know what is true and what isn’t? The question is not vain, since our physical and mental wellbeing depend on it. In Homer’s Odyssey, King Agamemnon consults the Oracle of Delphi about how he will fare in the Trojan War. We no longer have oracles, but there are many charlatans that add noise to the conversation. To find valid answers one must approach real experts.

And with that spirit comes WeLife Festival 2026. In its sixth edition, the wellness flagship gathers the best experts in longevity, nutrition, sleep or stress management. As always, with scientific evidence in hand. Take note of the dates: October 24 and 25 at the Real Teatro de Retiro in Madrid. An intense, relaxed weekend, with a lot to learn and a lot to enjoy.

First, know where we are headed

The past edition of WeLife Festival established itself as one of the essential wellness events, with speakers of the caliber of Toni Nadal, Emilio Duró or Sari Arponen and almost a thousand attendees. In its sixth edition, WeLife Festival returns with top-tier experts who will speak in an accessible tone about how to care for health to live better, push longevity or achieve the coveted mental calm.

The rush and infinite scrolling make it common to act without thinking. Everything happens quickly and, when things go wrong, we blame others, technology or a fatal destiny that seems determined to torpedo us. Something against which economist Cristóbal Amo, one of the great exponents of motivation understood as a tool to succeed, rebels. Psychologist Lorena Gascón, known on social networks as @lapsicologajaputa explains that very thing from psychology with candor and a lot of humor.

Both will be present at WeLife Festival 2026 in Madrid.

Nothing is Written

If poor Agamemnon had been told that nothing was written and that going to war and neglecting domestic affairs isn’t a good idea, perhaps he would have stayed at home. The reality is that nothing is written and our future depends more on the small daily successes than on genetic inheritance. They will debate that and much more: researcher Manel Esteller, micro-habits expert Beatriz Crespo and José Manuel Soria.

Athlete Cisco García will address it from his personal experience: from being a snowboard ace to practicing wheelchair-adapted tennis after a terrible mountain accident.

Everyone, Move!

One of the messages that health and longevity experts have repeated most in recent years is that we must move more. It is not about running a marathon a year, but about keeping the body alive and active continuously to preserve good metabolic health. The neuroscientist and CSIC researcher José Luis Trejo, will address the relationship between an active brain, exercise and longevity.

Mindful physical activity will also be addressed by Antonio Pérez. Approaching sport without guidelines, without adapting it to each one’s physical form and age is the antithesis of healthy longevity. In fact, it is like buying tickets to develop discomfort and injuries.

A Nod to Those Friendly Bacteria

We are not alone. Up to a kilogram and a half of our weight can correspond to the intestinal microbiota. Those millions of microorganisms that work quietly in our guts have a lot to say about our health today and the longevity of tomorrow. On that and how to take care of them know a lot the nutritionist and science communicator Xevi Verdaguer, the microbiota expert Sara Martín and the spokespersons for biochemistry and functional nutrition of Futurlife21.

Scientists also have a lot to say about advances in longevity. They will be explained by Manuel Collado, researcher in the group of Cellular Senescence, Cancer and Aging at the Santiago Health Research Institute (IDIS) and president of the newly created Spanish Society of Cellular Senescence (SENESCEL).

Taking Care Daily Without Drama

Healthy living has already stopped being seen as a punishment. You can enjoy food and train with friends without it implying suffering. On the contrary, those small micro-habits are what gift us years of life and keep us away from the hospital. On that and many other interesting topics will speak the cardiologist and medical communicator Aurelio Rojas, José Manuel Soria and Beatriz Crespo.

Menopause Without Barriers

The fear of menopause is over, because it is another stage in a woman’s life. To review all those myths that must be discarded we have prepared an interesting round table with the pharmacists Helena Rodero and Marta Masi, the journalist Minerva Piquero and the dermosurgeon Natividad Cano.

The nutrition advice to make the transition to this stage more bearable will come from Marta Marcè, a nutritionist expert in menopause. Marimer Pérez will address the tips every woman should know before reaching menopause and the pelvic floor physiotherapist Lola Ibáñez will, together with Intimina, outline the keys to caring for that region that we tend to forget.

An Oasis of Calm

The Mind & Body Studio space will host workshops on conscious breathing, meditation and yoga, a pillar for emotional balance and managing the dreaded stress.

There will be Eve Puértolas, Belén Colomina, Almu Morell, Mer de la Rosa, Andrea Klimowitz, Paula Butragueño and Andrea Fresneda. A good opportunity to lower your pulse and reconnect with our inner self.

This Is Also Your Home

Surely you also have in mind the hum of many questions you don’t know whom to ask. WeLife Festival offers the opportunity to resolve all those doubts and broaden knowledge among friends. Tickets are already on sale at welifefestival.es and until September 13 they have a 15% discount. In addition, the first 700 people who buy their Personalized Ticket (with classes and/or lectures) will receive our famous Goodie Bag as a gift with sponsor details.

WeLife Festival 2026 counts on the sponsorship of ASISA, Madrid City Council, Cupper, El Granero Integral, Intimina, Petit Bambou and Malta Tourism. And the collaboration of Alma Secret, Macami Biotech and Suprey.

See you there!
