When you work writing about beauty, trying new products practically becomes part of the routine. Serums that promise to transform the skin, foundations that guarantee lasting finish for hours, new perfumes, hair products, mascara or treatments that arrive with grand promises. Some work well, others pass by without fanfare, and a few manage something much harder: that you keep using them after you have finished testing them to write about them.

And those are precisely the products I want to talk about here. They are not necessarily the most viral launches nor the ones we’ve seen most on social media, but those that, after several weeks of use, have ended up truly slipping into my routine.

For me, one of the best ways to know if a cosmetic is worth it is when it stops being a novelty you are testing and becomes that product you search for every morning in the bathroom, that you automatically pack in the toiletry bag when you pack a suitcase, or that you already know you will repurchase when it runs out.
