Queen Letizia’s week has been dominated by fashion. While yesterday she attended the official presentation of the “Alliance for Wool,” as part of the Madrid Design Festival 2026, today she visits the Pedro García footwear factory which is celebrating its 100th anniversary.
Together with the García family, Doña Letizia will visit the offices and tour the manufacturing chain, during which she will be able to observe firsthand the work of the artisans who craft each pair of shoes in the same facilities, from which they are distributed worldwide.
And in a week full of institutional events related to the fashion industry, there could be no shortage of great looks: from the navy two-piece ensemble she wore on Tuesday, to the masculine suit with a romantic blouse she wore yesterday. Today’s choice also delights us, with the most coveted skirt of the entire winter.
Queen Letizia’s Look, in Detail
Doña Letizia has chosen one of her most trendy looks to date. She wears a navy blue long-sleeve sweater, knit in fine cashmere, with a round and closed neckline by Falconeri. A very minimalist piece to give prominence to the star item of this styling: a long plaid-print skirt.

The tartan or plaid skirt has become one of the season’s standout garments, seen in numerous street-style looks, and now also on Queen Letizia. It is a model from Bimba y Lola, in dark tones: brown, dark green and fine reddish lines.
It is a design with an A-line cut and wool-blend fabric, making it perfect for chilly days. It features a hidden side zipper and diagonal cuts with open seams and finished hems at the stem. It is available online for 115.50 euros and is ideal to pair with basics to achieve a spectacular look.
As for the accessories, she also surprises with tall, knee-high boots of the slouchy kind, with a rounded toe and a wide heel. Very far from the minimalist style she had been accustomed to, she wears thick jewelry: a chain necklace of Parfois that she has worn on another occasion and that provides contrast with the black of the sweater and elevates the look, and medium-sized hoop earrings.
That said, in terms of beauty she does not innovate and remains faithful to her most flattering makeup, in pink tones both on the eye area and on the lips, black mascara and blush to add brightness to the face. Her hair is worn loose, styled with a side part, and defined waves that add volume.
