That Queen Letizia is indeed a true style inspiration for many women is nothing new. Her outfits, whether for daily wear or for special occasions, are always among the most copied, and not only among royals, but she is also a style reference for actresses, celebrities and even politicians.
The latest to prove it has been Yolanda Díaz, who attended an event with the kings wearing what could be described as one of the queen consort’s favorite looks. Indeed, although she opted for a blazer suit—a common choice for such events—she did so using a styling trick and a color we have seen the mother of Princess Leonor wear on countless occasions.
We are referring to the look she chose for the institutional act at which the Cortes Generales celebrated 47 years in force of the 1978 Constitution. A date that took place at the Congress of Deputies and that was presided over by King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia.
She was joined by several political representatives, among them María Jesús Montero, Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo and the Government Vice President. Upon arriving at the event, Yolanda Díaz once again confirmed why she is considered one of the best-dressed politicians. Once again, she made a full statement with her outfits.

We have already discussed on several occasions the clear stylistic evolution she has undergone in recent years and how she has made her image the best ally to show elegance, power, unity and seriousness. In fact, the emphasis she places when choosing garments has been such that even her pursuit of sophistication and originality has not been without controversy — the alleged counterfeit handbag.
For this occasion she chose what, as we say, is a safe bet: a jacket-and-trousers suit, a move that never fails and that is ideal for work meetings where she needs to look formal, but with a touch of elegance. And no, she did not opt for neutral tones like black, gray or white, colors so common in the world of politics.

Yolanda surprised by opting for a two-piece set in baby pink that announces spring from all corners. Moreover, she has paired it with pieces in the same color family, thus going for an all-one-color look that the queen Letizia loves so much.
But this was not the only thing she has copied from the wife of Felipe VI. Doña Letizia has in her wardrobe two suits very similar to the one Yolanda Díaz wore. This light pink is one of the queen consort’s favorite shades, and we have seen it in dresses as well as in outfits, skirts and trousers. And, of course, also in suits. Over the last few years, we have seen her wear this proposal in different ways: pairing it with burgundy in winter and with white blouses in spring.

Regarding the footwear, she almost always turns to the same option: nude shoes to not break with the essence of the pink and to achieve a leg-lengthening effect, the same trick Yolanda Díaz has chosen. The politician has opted for slender-heeled pumps with a chic front lace-up closure. Under the jacket she wore a semi-transparent top, which added the original and modern touch to the outfit.
Finally, a white handbag with a short handle, also very elegant, completed this ensemble, confirming that Yolanda Díaz has activated the spring mood despite the cool temperatures.
