Velvet Christmas Set from This Japanese Brand

I wasn’t looking for a Christmas look, but we know December has that special magic. You go in just to take a peek, taking advantage of Black Friday discounts, and end up finding pieces you didn’t expect to finish the year. That’s what happened to me the other day at the Japanese brand Uniqlo.

I usually enter this store to renew basics. Cotton T-shirts are super flattering and don’t lose their shape with washes; thermal tops also have excellent quality and knitted garments keep you very warm and have a soft touch.

The most comfortable velvet set for Christmas is at Uniqlo

But this time, among the perfectly organized shelves and the soft fabrics that characterize the brand, I discovered the most comfortable and elegant velvet set for Christmas. One of those finds you don’t go looking for, but it wins you over.

The first thing that caught my attention was the fabric. A velvet with a beautiful drape, light, flexible and with a discreet satin finish that gives it the right festive touch. It doesn’t weigh, it doesn’t crease, and it has that elegant shine that makes the set look far more expensive than it costs.

The collection includes two pieces perfect to wear together or separately. It’s a velvet top, soft and minimalist, and a wide-leg pant with an elastic waistband and a fluid drape that is incredibly comfortable and flattering. Together they form a warm and functional total look.
