Three Extravagant Details That Made These 2026 Golden Globes Looks Stand Out

The 2026 Golden Globes inaugurate the awards season. Considered the Oscar’s prelude, these annual awards recognize excellence in American and international cinema and television. The gala, hosted by Nikki Glaser and held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, is a major event not only for the film industry but also for the fashion world.

Each year the red carpet of these awards provides spectacular looks to remember, and this season has been no exception. From Amal Clooney turning into the perfect guest with a spectacular red dress, to Ana de Armas with the perfect black Louis Vuitton dress, our favorite actresses did not disappoint with their Golden Globes looks.

That said, if we had to choose our favorite looks of the night, we would undoubtedly pick three names: Teyana Taylor, Jenna Ortega and Chase Infiniti. The reason? All three have opted for original and extravagant designs, with distinctive details that did not go unnoticed.

Teyana Taylor

We start with the spectacular Schiaparelli haute couture dress that Teyana Taylor wore, which also earned her the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in A Battle After Another. A black design with a halter neck, leaving the shoulders and back exposed.

It features a cross-neckline forming a V-shaped opening, with a fitted mermaid silhouette that hugs the body, highlighting the waist and hips, and the fabric is satin. In addition, it has a long floor-length skirt with a train and a subtle front opening.

But the best part, without a doubt, is the spectacular and daring back, which stands out for its asymmetric and sensual design. The dress leaves the back completely exposed, revealing one of the most striking details of the gown: a side cut-out at the lower back that shows a diamond thong in the shape of a bow. An element that adds a contrast between sensuality and elegance, and that makes this look one of our favorites of the gala.

Jenna Ortega

With a very distinctive and personal style, Jenna Ortega never disappoints on the red carpet, and at the Golden Globes she has become one of the best-dressed, in a very original and flattering black dress by Dilara Findikoglu that only she could carry off so well.

With Gothic inspiration, it features a bustier-style structured bodice, with a high neck and pronounced shoulders. It is made from a stiff satin fabric that shapes the torso, and the black beading and crystal appliqués that decorate both the front and the shoulders stand out.

The sides of the torso are completely exposed, with cut-out sections that leave only thin black straps. The sleeves are adorned with black fringes that hang from the shoulders, and the skirt is long, straight, and falls to the ground with a discreet train.

The back of this dress is also one of its most striking parts, being completely exposed. The corset ends in a central point that runs down the spine, lengthening into a decorative ribbon with embroidered details and dark gemstones.

Chase Infiniti

And finally, another standout from ‘A Battle After Another’, Chase Infiniti, with this perfect jewel dress by Louis Vuitton. The design features a structured strapless corset fully covered in mirrors, crystals, and irregular silver appliqués.

From the waist, the dress widens into a rigid peplum covered with crystals as well, which gives it volume and an architectural look. This armor-like effect contrasts with the lower part of the dress. The skirt falls fitted and flowing in black velvet, ending in a small train.
