Sunday has become the best moment to pause, disconnect from the pace of the week and dedicate a little time to myself. It’s that space to pamper myself and recharge energy to face the coming days calmly. To achieve this, I have created a small ritual that transforms my bath into an oasis of well-being, and so far it is the best way I have found to take care of myself without leaving home.
I start by lighting an aromatic candle that softens the atmosphere and marks the start of the self-care moment. While the light flickers, I apply a deeply nourishing hair mask and wrap it with a towel to amplify its effect. Then, I use a facial mask, ideal to provide hydration and immediate freshness, while I take a deep breath and let my mind relax as well.
Next, I place under-eye patches to relieve signs of fatigue and restore radiance to my gaze. I take the opportunity to gently exfoliate the body, removing impurities and leaving the skin renewed. This gesture makes me feel as if I were receiving a professional spa treatment, and for those of us who don’t have much time, it is the perfect option thanks to the convenience of doing it at home and how quick it is.
To finish, after a warm bath and my favorite bath bomb, I massage the skin with a rich body cream that provides long-lasting hydration. As a final touch, I apply a nourishing lip balm, leaving the lips soft, comfortable, and with a subtle natural shine. That small gesture completes the ritual and reminds me that taking care of ourselves is not a reward, but a way to love ourselves and understanding that we deserve that time.
