Queen Letizia’s official agenda begins today with an important appointment. The royal couple today holds a meeting with the President of the Republic of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, at the Royal Palace of Madrid, to subsequently host a luncheon in his honor.

While Queen Letizia carried out in 2017 her traditional Cooperation Trip to Senegal, for the President of the Republic of Senegal this is his second official visit to Spain after he attended, on June 30, 2025, in Seville, the IV International Conference on Financing for Development of the United Nations.

For the occasion, Queen Letizia has surprised by returning to wear a two-piece ensemble from the designer she has relied on for many years: Felipe Varela. Very elegant, feminine and with a silhouette that is very flattering, Doña Letizia again demonstrates why her style is always praised.

Queen Letizia’s look, in detail

It is a two-piece suit in a gray tone, with a slightly heathered finish that adds visual texture without being flashy. The ensemble transmits a formal but modern aesthetic, very much in line with her usual style: sophisticated, clean and very measured.

On the one hand, there is a tailored blazer jacket, which defines the silhouette. It features a belt in the same tone and a slight peplum effect, with two front-side pockets. It has a classic notch lapel collar and long sleeves, and the finishing details marked in navy blue.

But the most striking part of the look is the skirt, midi-length and with an A-line silhouette. The embroidered detail at the bottom stands out, floral motifs in blue tones, which add a romantic touch that we love. The look is completed with navy blue pointed-toe heels as well.

As for the jewelry, she continues with the minimalist line she is used to. She wears a very simple pendant, with a small diamond, and matching earrings with a wraparound shape.

In terms of beauty, she wears her hair down with a side part and very soft waves, and makeup somewhat more defined than on other occasions but still looking very natural. The eyes are lined with light eyeshadows on both the upper and lower lids, and the lips are painted in a flattering pink shade.
