Is the Blue T-Shirt the Fall Wardrobe Staple? María Pombo and Inés García Confirm

We need to talk about a new trend that didn’t originate on the runways or in street style, but rather comes from content creators, and which, more than a fashion statement, is the virality of a garment that has already been marked as sold out. And it is none other than the basic turquoise blue t‑shirt.

This color seems to be one of the novelties of the new season. We saw it triumph in manicures with Hailey Bieber, and, according to confirmations from some of the most important content creators in our country, it’s a trend that has also been transferred to clothing.

And no, it wasn’t done with a beautiful dress, a billowy skirt, or even colorful accessories. It arrived in the simplest and most straightforward way we could have expected: with a long-sleeve t‑shirt, which confirms that, in this case, the important thing is the color and not the design of the piece.

One of the first to show that this is an essential basic for autumn was Inés García. The influencer, partner of footballer Lamine Yamal, has already established herself as one of the most important content creators in our country. Her presence at the FIFA World Cup and her relationship with the FC Barcelona player have led her to accumulate 4.5 million followers on her Instagram profile.

And her latest photographed post is proof that this t‑shirt cannot be missing from your wardrobe. She paired it with long denim Bermuda shorts, black heeled sandals, and a coordinating Chanel bag that, as she explained in a TikTok video, she has borrowed from Lamine Yamal.

The other confirmation came from María Pombo. Despite enjoying her summer holidays in Cantabria, the influencer continues creating content and joining some of the most cutting‑edge trends of the moment, including the turquoise blue t‑shirt.

She chose a semi-sheer knit design that she paired with white denim pants and elevated with special accessories, such as a handbag embroidered with her initials. An ideal summer outfit for the north, that was completed with a slim belt and sunglasses.

María Fernández-Rubíes, her friend and fellow professional, also hasn’t resisted the blue t‑shirt trend and, like Inés García, has chosen the long-sleeve Zara model. This content creator is known for a more original and sophisticated style, featuring bold color elements and a mix of prints.

In this way, she combined this piece with blue Capri pants with a Vichy check print and added the color touch with a scarf tied at the waist. A very original combination that elevated this Zara piece, which, as we noted, already has the sold-out sign.

And it is a t‑shirt made from cotton and linen, featuring a round neck, long sleeves, and a straight hem. A basic also available in yellow and green, which costs 19.95 euros and which, due to the furor it has caused, is out of stock. However, if you liked it and want to join this trend, you can look for other options from brands such as Stradivarius, Bershka, or Massimo Dutti.
