The final day of OMODA Madrid es Moda is perhaps the most intense, save for the opening in the Sabatini Gardens, with an inaugural show in which all the brands we have been able to enjoy over four intense days came together. Coco Chanel already said: “Fashion passes, style endures,” and that final fervor demonstrates the indelible mark that the brands leave at the epicenter of Madrid Fashion Week.
Pedro Palmas, Aurelia Gil, Roberto Verino, Carlota Barrera and Dolores Cortés, among others, have been some of the designers who have shown that craftsmanship and national savoir-faire are one of the most important luxuries of the Spanish fashion industry. Between presentations, talks and fashion shows, we have been able to witness true designer fashion in a close, intimate way and, above all, through a dialogue full of emotion.
Promoted in collaboration with the Association of Spanish Fashion Creators (ACME) and with the support of the Ayuntamiento de Madrid through the municipal Madrid Capital de Moda initiative, OMODA Madrid es Moda features this edition with OMODA as Global Partner, the sponsorship of Cecotec, Estée Lauder, IED, Keune, Solán de Cabras and Unisa, in addition to the collaboration of the Hotel Príncipe Pío and Jo Malone.
Pedro Palmas.
Pedro Palmas
Pedro Palmas’s proposal starts from a singular look at architecture and its ability to become a language of fashion. With “SILENCIO,” the designer develops a bridal fashion collection of sculptural silhouettes, in which the garments acquire a dimension close to a work of art, closely tied to the city of Madrid.
OGADENIA Couture.
OGADENIA Couture
«MY MUSE» is a bridal fashion proposal by OGADENIA Couture developed together with the artist Emilio Almoguera. In it, landscapes, flowers and nature-inspired elements from the artist leave the canvas to be incorporated directly into the fabrics, which are then transformed by Ogadenia Díaz into garments conceived for movement.
Aurelia Gil.
Aurelia Gil
A foray into Aurelia Gil’s universe through the creation of wedding gowns. The collection envisions a contemporary, free and comfortable bride, while maintaining the classic essence from its own perspective. Dresses and ensembles evolve from daywear to evening looks, featuring silk-embroidered batistes, georgettes, bambulas, drapes, bustiers, flowing skirts and removable capes and trains.
GONZALES.
GONZALES
GONZALES presents «MRRÍA», its 11th lingerie collection, inspired by Mararía, the work of Canarian writer Rafael Arozarena. The proposal reclaims the figure of its protagonist to reflect on identity construction through the gaze of others and to bring to the present questions related to collective judgment, exposure and public narrative.
The 2nd Skin Co.
The 2nd Skin Co.
The new The 2nd Skin Co. space brings together a shop-atelier format without losing the artisanal look of the classic atelier. It presents a commercial prêt-à-porter collection that we explore in its new universe with Antonio Burillo and Juan Carlos Fernández, hosts of this new space who take pride in it and who celebrate their twentieth anniversary with a collection that reinterprets the house’s codes.
Roberto Torretta.
Roberto Torretta
Roberto Torretta has presented in his own showroom a show featuring female and male models to showcase his garments in a capsule format for the upcoming summer season. A way to glimpse national fashion with pieces available for immediate purchase. Two lines that maintain a manifesto through a contemporary and solid vision.
Carlota Barrera
Carlota Barrera starts from the inspiration of inherited wardrobes and the most traditional garments, but from a contemporary perspective. Men’s tailoring plays a fundamental role through tuxedo shirts, cummerbunds and reversible trench coats, among the standout pieces. Every detail evokes the traces, echoes and gestures of garments that once existed.
Isla Bonita Moda
A collective view of 15 brands associated with Isla Bonita Moda, where each one contributes different disciplines, languages and sensibilities, building a rich imaginary of La Palma. Among the participants are Adrienne, Alex Menorca, Diazar, Gohemm, Julia Brito, Pedro Juan, Rayco Plata and Waleska Morín; in accessories, La Sereca, Raquel Sanjuán and Xanalue; and in jewelry, Atelier el Tesoro, Lepa Punca, Pedro Ferreiro and Sara Luis Joyas.
Dominnico
Dominnico’s 2027 cruise collection builds a universe based on the nineties, with a vibe reminiscent of American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis, but translated into a contemporary and provocative perspective. Not abandoning the office uniform, of course: pinstripes, ties and sensual silhouettes in an executive-leaning key. Sheer fabrics and lingerie-inspired influences have also played a fundamental role in this immersive presentation.
Roberto Verino.
Roberto Verino
Roberto Verino presents his collection “From Within,” where he reclaims memory and identity through traditional garments and personal memories. The looks seek to reinterpret the house codes from a contemporary perspective to accompany the present, evolve, and endure.
Evade House
Fashion, cinema, performance, and materiality; that is how bold Evade House is, connecting fashion with some of its passions and allowing it to draw inspiration when creating. All of this through movement as instinct, memory, and collapse, to understand everything as a reflection in freedom that, by nature, cannot be restrained.
Dolores Cortés
Dolores Cortés’s swimwear collection arises from celebrating ornament as artistic language and from the exuberance inherent to the Pattern & Decoration movement. The proposal transforms the body into a living canvas where nature, color, and graphics coexist in sophisticated and expressive compositions.
It-Spain
The It-Spain brand presents an exhibition and an audiovisual piece through a fashion film that combines both narratives to create a unique experience. A journey that manages to reflect the brand’s DNA, while also guiding us toward a cinematic language, all to showcase references and artisanal processes behind the imagined Mutante, the name given to this action.
