Best Winter Perfumes: Elegant and Long-Lasting

There are scents that are capable of stopping time and enveloping everything in a warm, pleasant and lasting trail. In winter, they become an absolute essential. And every time I reach for my favorites, the story repeats itself and someone ends up telling me how well I smell. It’s no surprise—the winter perfumes do not go unnoticed and are your best calling card.

Reasons? There are many, although experts agree that the key is their composition. They usually include woody, spicy, vanilla-like or amber notes, dense and warm ingredients that react wonderfully with body temperature, intensifying their trail and prolonging their duration. Moreover, as some perfumers explain, these notes have heavier molecules, which makes them cling to skin and clothing for longer.

To get the most out of them, simply apply them to pulse points – neck, wrists, collarbones – and avoid rubbing to not alter their notes. It also works very well to spray a little on a scarf or coat, leaving a subtle and elegant trail with every step.

Best Winter Perfumes of 2025

Dolce & Gabbana My Devotion Eau de Parfum.

Dolce & Gabbana My Devotion Eau de Parfum Intense is warm, luminous and with a gourmand note that never overwhelms. Its opening blends pear blossom and blackcurrant to provide a fresh, fruity, youthful and balanced brightness. The heart of peony and orange blossom is radiant, crisp and elegant, perfect for someone who wants a floral with body but without brashness. It is a perfume that unites luminosity and warmth in the best possible way.

Roberto Cavalli Serpentine.

Roberto Cavalli Serpentine. Designed for those who want to leave a mark on cold nights, this fragrance is intense, floral and spicy, with that magnetic presence that works especially well in winter. The opening blends spicy bergamot and blackcurrant, creating a sparkling start that awakens the senses without becoming a classic citrus. Soon follows an opulent floral heart with jasmine sambac, magnolia, lavender and a touch of golden saffron that adds an almost hypnotic elegance. It is a fragrance that envelopes and seduces without asking for permission.

DKNY 24/7 Electric.

DKNY 24/7 Electric is perfect for those seeking a vibrant night perfume, youthful without being childish and with energy to accompany plans until dawn. Its fruity and luminous opening captures the spirit of a city in motion, with juicy notes that work very well in winter because they lift, stimulate and add sparkle. The floral heart adds a glamorous, fresh and expansive touch, ideal for party nights and strong looks. It also lasts all day thanks to its warm and sexy base.

Maison Margiela Replica Jazz Club.

Maison Margiela Replica Jazz Club is one of the most celebrated winter perfumes because it perfectly captures the intimate warmth of a bar full of music, leather and cocktails. Its peppery pink pepper, citrus and neroli opening sets the scene, while amber rum notes recreate that enveloping, sweet and dark scent you feel when entering an elegant club. It is a deep fragrance, alluring and with a lot of personality. In fact, it is one of my favorites.

Halloween Perfumes My Wish.

Halloween Perfumes My Wish is that winter fragrance designed for those who want a sweet, addictive aroma with personality. It is an elegant fragrance, with character and a sensual edge that works especially well at night. A scent for women who want to stand out without needing trails that are too dense.

TOUS Kaos Eau de Parfum.

TOUS Kaos Eau de Parfum. In the lead-up to Christmas, gift sets of perfumes become one of the best options because they offer complete experiences. In the case of this one, I like it because it is versatile and perfect for winter. Its trail blends the citrus spark of its opening with floral notes in the heart, and warmer notes in the base. It is sophisticated, easy to wear and with a balanced sweet touch that makes it a safe gift and a perfume to wear without getting tired.
