The Mask That Restored My Dehydrated Skin

I don’t remember exactly when I started to feel different, but one day I looked in the mirror and it was clear that my skin was begging for help. You could say that facial masks are my favorite beauty product, regardless of the format. I like the ones that you just open and place on the face, but I also enjoy those that are applied little by little in front of the mirror. Beyond the ingredients or the results, they have always seemed to me like a small ritual of disconnect, a sort of home spa experience that makes me stop for a few minutes.

With the arrival of the cold, my skin began to look duller and more taut than usual. It’s exactly at those moments that I tend to turn to hydrating masks, because I notice they are capable of returning comfort to the face in an almost immediate way. When the skin is asking for help, few things work as well for me.

What I like most about this type of treatment is that not all of them pursue exactly the same objective. Some are designed to provide an extra hydration, others help to calm, improve radiance, or reinforce the skin barrier. That’s why I like to choose them according to what my skin needs at each moment, especially in this time of year.

Since I began incorporating this gesture more consistently, the difference has been evident. The skin regains radiance faster, feels more flexible and that taut sensation disappears much more quickly. In the end, just as I switch some products when summer ends, I also carve out a space for those masks that manage to return to the face the fresh and rested look I miss so much when routine returns.
